A few pomegranate arils (the seeds/juicy part) are generally tolerated, but the fruit's tannins can cause stomach upset in larger amounts.
Pomegranate isn't associated with serious toxicity in dogs, but the tannins and fibre content can cause vomiting or diarrhoea if a dog eats a significant quantity, and the tough outer rind/pith is unappetising and hard to digest.
