Plain, low-sugar cereal in small amounts is generally low risk, but many cereals contain raisins, chocolate, or xylitol — always check the box before sharing.
The cereal itself (a grain product) usually carries no toxicity concern, but this category has some of the highest rates of hidden dangerous ingredients on this whole list — raisin bran contains raisins (toxic), chocolate cereals contain theobromine, and some 'healthy' or sugar-free cereals are increasingly sweetened with xylitol.
